How to View Profit & Loss in MT5 (Desktop Version)
1 Open the “Terminal” Window
– On the top menu, click View → Terminal (or press Ctrl+T).
– A panel appears at the bottom of MT5 showing your account and trades.

2 Go to the “Trade” Tab (for Open Positions)
– Inside the Terminal window, click the Trade tab.
-You’ll see all open positions and their real-time Profit column.
– Blue numbers = profit.
– Red numbers = loss.
Columns to check:
– Profit: Current floating profit or loss of each trade.
– Balance, Equity, Margin, Free Margin at the bottom: gives your real-time account status.

3 Go to the “History” Tab (for Closed Trades)
– Click the History tab in the Terminal.
– This shows all closed trades with their final profit or loss under the Profit column.
– Use right-click → Custom Period to choose the date range you want.
