🔍 Common Causes & Solutions
① Unstable Internet Connection
Problem:
Poor or disconnected internet prevents the order from reaching the server.
Solution:
– Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data
– Switch networks if needed
– Restart the MT5 app
② Market Is Closed
Problem:
Trading outside market hours (weekends or specific sessions).
Solution:
– Check market opening hours
– Make sure the symbol is active (not greyed out)
– Trade only when the market is open
③ Insufficient Margin
Problem:
Not enough free margin to open the trade.
Solution:
– Check Free Margin
– Reduce lot size
– Close other positions if necessary
④ Fast Market Movement (Requote/ Slippage)
Problem:
Price moves too fast and order cannot be executed.
Solution:
– Enable Allow deviation
– Avoid trading during major news
– Try placing the order again
⑤ Incorrect Pending Order Setup
Problem:
Pending order price is too close or invalid.
Solution:
– Ensure pending order distance meets broker requirements
– Check minimum stop level
⑥ Account Login or Server Issue
Problem:
Account is not properly connected to the server.
Solution:
– Check connection status at the top of the app
– Re-login to your MT5 account
– Confirm the correct server is selected
