How to Set SL/TP on MT5 (Android Version)

✅ Part 1 – Set SL/TP When Opening a New Order

  • Step 1 – Open MT5 App
  • – Tap the MetaTrader 5 icon
Step 2 – Go to Quotes

  • – Tap Quotes (bottom left)
  • – Select your trading instrument (e.g., XAUUSD/EURUSD)
Step 3 – Tap “New Order”

  • – Tap the symbol → select New Order
Step 4 – Enter SL & TP
You will see boxes labeled:

  • – Stop Loss (SL)
  • – Take Profit (TP)
Enter your desired price levels
or use the +/- buttons to adjust.
Step 5 – Execute Trade

  • – Tap Buy by Market or Sell by Market.

✅ Order will open with your SL/TP attached.

✅ Part 2 – Modify / Add SL/TP to an Active Trade
Step 1 – Go to Trade Tab

  • – Tap Trade at the bottom
  • – Find your open positions
Step 2 – Select the Trade

  • – Tap & hold on the open trade
    (or swipe left depending on device)
Step 3 – Tap “Modify”

  • – Select Modify
Step 4 – Enter SL/TP

  • – Input desired Stop Loss price
  • – Input desired Take Profit price
Step 5 – Confirm

  • – Tap Modify

✅ SL/TP is now updated.
